Award Ceremony Environment test

This shot has to have a low-key look to contrast with the higher key shots later. There will also be emphasis lighting on the purple heart medal in the shot to really make it stand out off of this background.

  1. If they're on a stage wouldn't the guy and the soldiers be way-y-y brighter and the background uber dark. It should be higher contrast and the dudes should be the focus, right now my eyes are colliding with the wall

  2. They aren't really on a stage, its more like they are in an office at rear-operating base. Also, keep in mind the main solider is going to block 90% of the wall, and will be light linked to be as brighter than the wall here.

No doubt I am going to be tweaking this shot's lighting more when it comes to it. Darkening the rear wall is something that IS likely to happen, but I'm going to cross that bridge when I'm deeper into the shot.

The officer's arm placement is going to be my biggest concern. I may end up tilting the whole shot at more of a 45 degree instead of straight on, cause this phantom arm may feel weird when animated.
